About the Role
As a Senior Research Analyst at DNA Consult, you’ll own discovery, analysis, and synthesis across strategy sprints, market entry, VoC, pricing/WTP, and investor-grade models. You’ll plan the approach, guide junior analysts, run expert/buyer conversations, and translate evidence into options with trade-offs plus a 90-day action path. The work is remote, fast-cycle, and senior-led—you’ll collaborate directly with principals and SMEs across India/GCC.
Responsibilities
Scope problems, plan research approaches, and manage timelines across parallel workstreams.
Build driver-based TAM/SAM/SOM and simple financial/Unit Econ models with assumptions books.
Design and run VoC (screeners, interviews, lean surveys); synthesize verbatims into themes.
Produce competitive, pricing, and channel maps; outline price corridors and value drivers.
Lead expert/buyer calls; prepare discussion guides and crisp notes.
Turn analysis into story: options, risks, “so-what,” and recommendations with owners & KPIs.
Review/coach analysts; QC sources, calculations, and slides for accuracy and clarity.
Present to clients; handle Q&A and iterate quickly based on feedback.
Maintain clean references, citations, and version control.
Requirements
4–6+ years in research/strategy/consulting, or equivalent high-signal experience.
Strong quantitative chops (market sizing, cohorts/LTV:CAC, sensitivity tables).
Excellent synthesis & writing; can turn data into decision-ready narratives.
Comfortable leading interviews and expert calls; professional client presence.
Advanced Sheets/Excel & Slides/PowerPoint; comfort with data cleaning/visuals.
Organized project management; proactive communication in a remote setting.
Bachelor’s/Master’s in business, economics, engineering, or similar.
Nice to Have
Pricing/WTP methods and message/feature testing.
Exposure to financial modeling for investors (IC memos, assumptions books).
Light SQL/Python or BI tools for QA and exploration.
Experience working with LLM-assisted research and prompt hygiene.
Sector depth in tech, industrials, healthcare, or energy; regional exposure India/GCC/SEA.
