About the Role
As a Digital Strategy Consultant, you’ll bridge business, data, and tech to help clients choose and deliver the right digital/AI bets. You’ll run backlog workshops, score use cases, assess data readiness, decide build-vs-buy, define the operating model and roles, shortlist partners, and design pilots with scale/exit thresholds. You’ll keep Finance, IT, and Ops aligned with clear metrics and cadence. Remote-first; occasional workshops or field checks may require travel.
Responsibilities
Align on goals, constraints, and “definition of done”; set cadence and governance.
Facilitate use-case backlog creation and scoring (value, feasibility, data readiness, TTI).
Define MVP scope and value-creation metrics for the first release.
Lead build-vs-buy assessments; outline architecture and integration implications.
Map operating model & roles (product, data, engineering, compliance).
Run data readiness scans; document gaps and the minimum to start.
Create partner/vendor shortlist; manage RFPs and evaluations where needed.
Plan and support the pilot: owners, timeline, risks, and scale/exit gates.
Track results, publish updates, and recommend scale / iterate / stop decisions.
Produce exec-ready materials: options, trade-offs, and 90-day action plans.
Requirements
5–8+ years in digital strategy/consulting/product/IT transformation.
Hands-on from discovery → MVP/pilot; strong facilitation with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable discussing data/ML basics, APIs, integrations, and security constraints.
Ability to quantify impact (business cases, simple unit economics/ROI).
Excellent communication and storylining; strong Slides/PowerPoint & Sheets/Excel.
Project leadership in remote/distributed settings; proactive and organized.
Bachelor’s/Master’s in business, engineering, information systems, or similar.
Nice to Have
GenAI/LLM use-case design or prompt-ops exposure; analytics/BI familiarity.
Sector depth in tech/industrials/healthcare or multi-region work (India/GCC/SEA).
